Sorry to all four of you that enjoy the F1 Time Machine last week(I was on vacation). So to make up for it, I've got a beauty here for you: the 1993 Spanish Grand Prix. Starting Grid has Prost and Hill as your front row, Senna and Schumi are in the row behind... by nearly 2 SECONDS.

Active suspensions and god know what else Newey put there....

Only one thing resist it (and was not very effective): Senna

BTW... great post.

Senna moved to the championship witchcraft Williams the next year, only to find no witchcraft. All those driver's aids has been banned.

Check out the Lotus jacking system at the @11:30 pitstop.

And here:

Car was amazing. Active suspension, power steering, ABS, traction control, automatic upshifts, and with a press of a button, you could raise the rear ride height suspension and stall the rear wing, adding straight line speed.
